Singer-songwriter and experienced Doula Nickita has released her jaw dropping new single ‘Breathe Again’ dedicated to mothers everywhere, teaching them their rights and encouraging them to make informed decisions throughout their pregnancy. Sales from the single will go directly to her organisation ‘When Push Comes to Shove’.
“Nickita is one of those singers who you feel should be up there with the likes of
Carey & Aguilera” – Feed Me Music
‘Breathe Again’ is a perfect anthem to celebrate World Doula Week (22nd-28th March). Starting in Israel as the first Doula Day in 2011, the initiative now spans over a week to empower doulas all over the world, in order to improve the mental and physical health of women, new-borns and families before, during and after the birth of a child.
Nickita’s powerful vocals and incredible vocal range will give you goose bumps. The trauma she has suffered after multiple miscarriages herself can be felt in her lyrics and voice, it’s impossible not to hear her strength.
Nickita’s fundraising efforts do not end here. She has vowed to campaign for the right for mothers to know their choices and is now working on a documentary film on women’s birthing rights, which is currently in pre-production.
This woman is an absolute icon; a singer-songwriter with incredible vocals, an experienced doula and an ambassador for women’s rights during pregnancy. To top it all off, Nikita is also a writer for Sony Music where she writes for artists all over the world. She also works for I.E. Management who represents major artists, including Robbie Williams and SIA.
